Cheddar Cheese Curds

Fresh cheddar cheese curds are a bit softer than cheddar cheese with a sweet and salty springy, chewy texture.  Can be breaded and deep fried and are the main ingredient in Poutine, a Canadian dish of cheese curds layered on top of french fries and smothered in hot gravy!!
